'Had a great stay in Tayac. A few downsides are the short beds for most Europeans and the lack of air conditioning in the bedrooms (only an issue when it is 35 degrees for multiple days in a row), but the rooms 2 were spacious enough for 6 people. All in all a great stay with a spacious garden for our dog or to lie under a tree to get some shade. Also a spacious ground floor with almost all necessary facilities. 'Séjour familial à 10 pour deux jours. Le gîte ne servait qu'à notre hébergement. Gîte très propre mais franchement vétuste qui aurait tout intérêt à être rénové,mieux isolé. Nous avons eu froid la journée, le soir, la nuit... Vraiment très froid même si nous gardions nos écharpes et nos gros pulls.. Deux salles de bain sont à refaire à neuf et une colonne de douche n'est plus fixée au mur et pour surajouter une difficulté pour prendre votre douche, une étagère en verre risque au moindre...

'House was in a lovely location. Garden was rustic beautiful sound of frogs in the evening. House comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Owner was helpful to accommodate a later check out. Shame half a toilet roll, and no soap provided. Would rather have had these basics than the local bottle of wine! Especially as had just stayed at another place with the basics including toilet paper soap and cleaning products in addition salt and coffee being provided.'

It was so well equipped that each of each could sleep in a separate bed and even so that the heavy snorers had a room to themselves. 'The place is superb - really homely and well furnished. We were there for a nearby wedding but is the perfect base to explore the wider area. We drove across to Saint Emilion for the day which was great. Le Pessaquai Restaurant is a great local option for dinner. Chateau Tour la Cadie just up the road does incredible and really well priced wine! Le Pessàquai Pessac sur Dordogne'

'Goed ingericht en schoon huis in een stille wijk en dicht bij grote supermarkt. In Libourne is het busvervoer gratis. Bij de receptie hebben ze de vertrektijden. Ook kregen we bij aankomst veel informatie over de streek. Prima bedden. Personeel erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een plek om terug te komen.'
