'This resort has seen better days! Most of the structures are older and have not been kept in good repair. Wood decking around pool area is coming loose and is hazardous. Pool itself needs repairs. Rooms are more rustic but have modern combo locks on dorrs. our lock malfunctioned, so we were upgraded to the deluxe "house". This was much bigger and better with a full kitchen, and was further from the main road which meant it was quieter. staying in units near the road would be very loud. Staff was...

'Lovely clean hostel with cozy shared spaces. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the location was perfect. Highly recommend a stay here. Perhaps a little sign up warning tourists of the pickpockets in the town would be a good idea. Telephones are stolen every weekend, ours included. '

'Before you walk through the gates, you’ll be wondering if this is one of the bad hostel’s on your trip… but as soon as you check in and meet pepe, you’ll quickly feel like home. There’s a lot of space, the rooms are clean, the kitchen doesn’t really need anything and, best of all, you’ll become friends woth Pepe and his wonderful dog It’s too far away from the beach to walk but you can easily get a collectivo and isn’t very much.'
