'The moment we walked in we were overwhelmed by the nostalgic memories of camping trips from our youth. The cabin, situated on a peaceful lake and in a fairy-woodland, gently persuades one to thoroughly release every stress. The cabin itself is well-stocked and smells of fresh pine. Our family was blessed beyond measure by our stay. Also, Heidi and her family are wonderful people! '

'This is a rustic, true off-grid stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the new owners clearly care about the camp itself and are working to to update and refresh it a bit. I did have a bit of trouble finding it and due to the lack of pics and directions when I booked, it just took a bit longer. I believe that has been updated. Garrett was great, super friendly and had great communication. Beautiful stay - I needed to get out into nature and I was able to do so. Absolutely would stay again...

'We needed a place to collapse and reset! This was perfect! Secluded and private with a beautiful sandy beach overlooking the lake. Not having to transport our own kayaks was a great plus; kayaks in good shape. The light over the main dining table was not working, as well as a few electric outlets -- we bought a lantern at Walmart in Calais and did just fine. Got a few really cold showers -- finally figured out one of us needed to shower in the am and the other in the pm to get 2 hot...

'Wonderful property, beautiful lake, nice house but it needs some improvements. It need to be cleaner. I know it is a wilderness camp but it needs a through cleaning. All food items should be removed after each guest departs. Food items attract mice and the house is infested with mice. We caught over a dozen while we were there.
