Cottages in Gozo

'We verbleven hier in de kerstvakantie. Het zwembad was open, maar heel koud. Het appartement was vrij somber in dit jaargetijde, geen zon op het balkon. De zon zochten we op bij het zwembad. Het appartement is heel ruim. De bedden zijn redelijk (beetje hard), de keuken is een beetje verouderd. De douches zelf zijn slecht, douchekoppen blijven niet hangen. Verder zijn de badkamers prima. 'Apartment was very nice. The fort is mostly a disaster area. No renovations have been done for 30 years. A new developer has come forward with another plan so it will be interesting if it ever happens. Pool is enormous. I was the only one in it but we were here early May. Eat at Rexys. Great food. We only had their pizzas and dessert. Area is isolated so Bolt will be required to get to other restaurants. Near Mgarr harbour. I would recommend the island and even the Fort if you desire...

'The house is beautiful. It's not a good idea to book it during winter season. No basic things provided on arrival such as milk or sugar to make a hot cup of tea, no matches or fire starter or instruction to start the fire in the front room as there is no other heating except that, I had not enough euro coins or the balance left in the meter unit to keep the bedrooms heated the first night of arriving into the cold December nights.
