The Property Manager, Bohdi, was exceptional, quickly responding to all our needs, big and small. If you're looking to craft your own unforgettable event, gathering, or getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains, this is the place to start!

Perfect Thanksgiving Vacation 10 out of 10
We loved Luxe Bear Lodge for our 2023 Family vacation. The home was absolutely beautiful - clean rooms and bathrooms, upgraded kitchen for cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner for 16, comfortable theatre room, entertaining game room, two clean and pre-heated hot tubs, wrap around porch with amazing views of the mountains, more than enough caged trash cans (A must for a big family), etc....There were also some nice little touches that made our trip extra special - Christmas Decorations (Inside/Out), candy and popcorn in the game room, Smores and Cookies, Robes and Slippers in all rooms, plenty of clean quality towels, and cleverly packaged shampoo, conditioner, soap (Etc.) Katy and Bodhi were both absolutely amazing - they were kind, responsive, and accessible! I know they put in countless hours to decorate the home inside and out for Christmas - thank you so much Katy and Bodhi!! I really can't thank you all enough for giving my family such a memorable family trip. We did want to see a Bear - I guess that would be my only complaint. Thank you again to the Owners, Katy and Bodhi - you're amazing! Thank you!

Great stay - 2nd year in a row
This was the second time we stayed here. House is extremely nice and in a perfect remote location. It is a little inconvenient getting to a local store, but that’s the trade off for the remote nature of the location with no visibility to neighboring homes. Highly recommended booking for a large group!!

This home was perfect for our family!! We had such and awesome time!! We arrived and met Bodhi who gave us the details of the house. He was accessible when we needed help with one of the TVs during our stay. Everything in the house was as described online. The drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was great!!! We will definitely stay here again!!

The luxe Bear Lodge has Bohdi, thee absolute best house host ever. He made sure we had everything we needed and replaced the BlueRay player when it went out, to ensure we would be able to watch a movie together. The Lodge is so beautiful the pictures don’t do it justice. The view from the porch is a slice of heaven. The kitchen has everything you need and more. We plan to make this an annual trip. We absolutely enjoyed our stay

When arriving we got to meet Bohdi and he was great. Showed us around helped with the TV’s and I had to text him a few times with questions and he was absolutely the best. Answered all our questions and super nice. Same as Katy! She was great with communicating with me via text. The house was very clean plenty of towels and supplies. Only thing I didn’t like were the bears! One bear, which my husband didn’t see growled at my him as he was taking out the trash so my husband ran back up the hill. Saw a Momma bear and cub which walk on the bottom deck so be careful!

Second Stay at this Beautiful Lodge
Wonderfully decorated for the holiday season. Our family absolutely enjoyed this well appointed lodge, spending time playing games in game room, watching movies in the theatre room and utilizing the hot tubs. The main level living room is a great space for a family to enjoy each other’s company, laughing and making memories. 5 Star Facility and service yet again!!!

Wonderful second stay y Luxe Bear for our retreat
Luxe Bear feels like home to our retreat. Katy and Bodhi are wonderful to work with, and they have proven to be committed to helping us make our retreat a success. We hope to return for years to come! The space is vast and peaceful, and the amenities are unmatched.

Incredible views
The place was very much as advertised online. We had 20 adults there for a college reunion trip. The good: the views were incredible, most rooms were very spacious and had their own private bathroom, many different indoor games to play on a rainy day, amazing kitchen when cooking for a large group, nice fire pit, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spacious, no hot water shortage, wrap around deck, a ton of kitchen appliances and dishes, multiple fridges, very fun theatre room, high ceilings, log cabin construction The not so good: some small issues with cleanliness, unable to connect your own device to the outdoor speakers, doors automatically lock behind you but the door code only worked on the front door keypad for us, Wi-Fi was very slow in most areas of the home (could have been the number of guests), hot tubs had an unpleasant smell after the first time we used them (may just need cleaned/shocked), the theatre room had the option to utilize Amazon video, Netflix, etc. but every time we started a program it crashed and popped up saying that the video source had been lost. Overall we had a great stay, the hosts were very nice and communicated instantly every time I reached out to them. Only a few hiccups.

Our wedding stay!
This was by far the most incredible vacation rental we have EVER had. My wife and I booked the Luxe Bear Lodge to hold our reception for our Gatlinburg wedding. Words can’t describe how wonderful this cabin is!! Our entire family was lost for words at the beauty of this place. We were so blessed to have been able to hold our special night here and have nothing but resounding praise for both the staff and the property!

Truly AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. The little details and added special treats we very appreciative and the Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could of ever needed. The helpful management team coordinated a person chef (Chef Kevin) and flower arrangements to assist in a surprise birthday party we held. We also really enjoyed hanging out around the outdoor fire pit cooking smores! We would give the Luxe Bear Lodge 10 stars if we could!!!!!

We had an amazing stay. The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked, probably the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. Host answered all questions timely and check I. And out was super easy. I think they even left snow for our stay so the kids could play in it.

The lodge is beautiful and close to Gatlinburg. They really make you feel special with all the EXTRA goodies. Fresh flowers, candy, sparkling water and Gatlinburg Bear! We are already planning a trip for 2022.

Cabin was everything and more! Issues with the elevator, but the host sent out the technician ASAP! WiFi is horrible though…. Lovely cabin!!! Great views!!! Left some items and the host mailed them to us!

Perfect Family Getaway
This is a 5 star +++ experience. We were blown away when we walked in the front doors... Then, there were all the special touches, like flower arrangements inside and outside, along with Christmas decorations galore. We hope to make this our new family tradition getaway spot.

Holiday’s in the Smokies!
We gathered as a family of 12 at The Lux Bear Lodge for a early Thanksgiving Celebration. What fun we had playing Billiards, Shuffle board and Foosball. Since we were close to the National Park we went hiking plus spent an afternoon at Dollywood. We will definitely be back again next year to enjoy the best The Smokies and The Lux Bear Lodge had to offer! We loved everything!
