'We stayed here because of an early flight. We got a room right across the hall from the elevator. It was loud, bright (lights shine brightly underneath the door), cold, tiny and aging. The bed was extremely cramped. Needless to say we didn’t get any sleep at all. The restaurant was understaffed, we sat down around 8-ish after waiting 20 minutes for them to clean a table, we then waited 30 minutes more, but nobody came to take our order. We bought something from the vending machines instead...

'Had a wonderful week stay. For the most part everything was great. Just a few things to consider. I like paying for dinner (actually everything) on my credit card so I don’t get the “check out shock” at the end. With that said, expect substantial waiting time on receiving/paying the bill. (Everything else involved was perfect).. In the pool area, you are not allowed to move chairs/loungers or umbrella towards the sun etc. Where they are placed is where they sit, or you will be “reprimanded”....

'The stay at Royal Sonesta was great!! The staff, service and convenience of places for activities was in walking distance or short uber ride very inexpensive. The only issue i had was attempting to set up birthday decorations in the room with the concierge was definitely a miss i attemted to reach him multiple times every day he was either never there at the desk or didn't pick up the phone, once i received him he said he was busy took my information and never called me been i tried reaching...
