Vind je ideale hotel in Fljótsdalur-vallei

'Verblijf van 1 nacht, heerlijk rustig geslapen, bedden lagen goed (persoonlijk natuurlijk). We waren zo gelukkig om begin september het noorderlicht te zien, wat goed zichtbaar was omdat het hotel niet midden in het stadje ligt (lichtvervuiling). We werden door het personeel naar onze kamer begeleid, iedereen was vriendelijk en benaderbaar. Ontbijt is niet in de prijs inbegrepen en kostte rond de 2000 króna (14 euro) per persoon. 'This is not your average IKEA-style cottage (nothing wrong with that, but you know what I mean). This is a home-away-from-home with lots of nice features. A waterboiler, a Senseo-machine with some pads ánd a coffee filter. A Weber gas-BBQ on your porch, use of a sauna and hottub if you like ánd morning coat & slippers. Plus: the complimentary warm welcome from the owner herself ;-) Recommended, folks!'

'A good cottage to stay in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Quite roomy for our family of 4. And the living room is kind of nice; private kitchen and bath is another good things. We arrived in a rainy days. This cottage gave us the comfort feeling and restful night.'

'We stayed for one night in a cabin/chalet behind the hotel. The concierge was extremely helpful and polite, despite clearly being alone at work (it was a Sunday night). Check in from a reservation was smooth and convenient. There is not much to do in the area, so we had a couple of beers in the bar/restaurant area and went to bed. The chalet was clean and well-equipped for a longer stay, with appliances, tableware, towels, and a comfortable sleeping arrangement. I would highly recommend this...

'This was a quaint cabin that we stayed in and the owner was very good with communication. This is an extremely beautiful area and allowed us to visit a beautiful town next to the area. There are several waterfalls and hiking opportunities and I believe we could’ve used a kayak if we asked, but we did not have time to do this. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking simple meals. '
