'Not the safest of areas. Staff is extremely helpful. Restaurant was great. The hotel is showing its age and they still use flat bottom sheets instead of fitted-which makes for an uncomfortable sleep. For me, I felt safe and secure in the hotel-don’t know if I get out if it’s perimeter at night. Bossier has really changed since I left and from this visit-I don’t think it’s changing for the better.'

'I arrived early because my flight the day before was cancelled. I had to cancel a night too but I got credited for it and then I was able to check-in 3 hours early! Before then they set me up with pool access so I’d have a place to hang out. Staff were friendly, the room was comfy, the bed was comfy. The casino was cool too! '

'Would not have boarded my dog there. I am more upset with Expedia than the hotel. They presented false and misleading information on the web site. Got there and asked to see the room, it was horrifying, would not stay even if offered a hazmat suit and room was free. The aroma was indescribable.'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. 'I usually stay at this property all the time when i go home to visit but it has really gone down. The rooms need work in the bathroom areas. The sheets had stains on them on both of the beds in the room. The first room I was put in the dead bolt didn't work. Then the 2nd room the key card didn't work when i came back for the evening and the beds needed to be replaced; I basically slept in a whole all night.'
