Blokhutten in Fairplay

'Seems like they put minimal effort into these places. Did not feel much love went into the cabin. The curtains are useless and cabin 10 that we stayed in gets blinding sunlight into the cabin in the afternoon. We had to put a towel over the window to block it to watch tv. The windows don’t have screens so you can’t open a window to cool off without letting in bugs. The bed is like sleeping on a slab of granite. The place has potential if the owners would update and put more thought into...

'First, the property was very clean, which is a big deal for us. Checking in and out were easy. The house is about 20 minutes from town, but we wanted to be out in the mountains, so the drive was totally worth it. It’s in a beautiful area and we would stay there again. '

'We had a great time in this home for a winter getaway with family. Everything was included in the home that we needed from toilet paper to kitchen utensils. We had a few hiccups in the beginning but everything worked out!'

'We chose this house as my daughter’s senior family vacation before she moves to college and she chose the mountains. She chose the house herself via VRBO and we booked it based on the beautiful scenery and location and size. The house was not what the pictures reflected. it was in poor condition, used and abused by all the previous renters and not kept up. Cleaning surface was also subparcobwebs.'
