'Mooi authentiek hotel. Van buiten prachtig om te zien. Van binnen iets gedateerd maar wel goed. Personeel vriendelijk. Niet goed te doen als je wat slechter te been bent door de vele trapjes en opstapjes. Het licht op loopafstand van het centrum en toch in een heel rustige omgeving. De route is echter wel via een lange steile weg. We hadden een “standaard kamer” en vonden die wel aan de kleine kant. Hotel is niet toegestaan voor kinderen. '

'Our stay at Villa Marina was excellent. We were given a very warm welcome and the room was very comfortable and everything we could want was provided. Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well cooked and served beautifully. We would be very happy to stay there again.'

'The hotel is very new so all the open facilities were in perfect state. Staff are all new and motivated, if not fully trained. All were very keen to serve thier customers. The hotel affords great views over Torbay from the main restaurants, bars and space by lifts. We did not have a seaview room so looked over the railway and neighbours gardens. Our room was well furnished and decorated including a small fridge and coffee machine. It would be nice to have a second chair given it is a double...

'There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed. '
