'Lake front and totally private; we fell asleep to the waves. The location is what makes this property incredible. We spent almost all of our time outside and enjoyed it thoroughly, including plenty of boats, chairs, and sand tots provided by the owner. There is a weirdly heavy infestation of fruit flies throughout the house that was unpleasant, some of the linens weren’t clean, and a few lights didn’t work. Peter was a responsive and gracious host!'

'We were delighted to find we could walk just a couple of blocks to cafes, shops and Beulah beach. The neighborhood is charming and quintessentially Michigan. The Cherry Hut restaurant is just a 2 min drive - The Best Cherry Pie! Downtown Frankfort is a 10 minute drive, beautiful sandy beach and you can walk the pier out to the lighthouse.
