'The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. 'Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. Our oceanfront bure had beautiful views, and we enjoyed walking in the shallow waters at low tide, spotting purple starfish and other sea life. 'Best stay near airport hotel, friendly, atmosphere, few hundred yards from arr/dep hall and even then wonderful free shuttle service! Swimmingpool to relax. Low rise building only 2 floors.'

'It's a good place for your first night of last night before you go to the islands. Don't spend too long here. The beach is dirty and the sea too. Don't expect a white beach and blue water. The food is expensive, just go to Bamboo at the end of the road to get lunch and dinner, much cheaper and better. It's a good place for just one night as it's close to the airport. Also try the local bus!'

'Loved the hotel, but you need to make sure you book your dinner otherwise they won’t let you into the restaurant. The staff there were not as enthusiastic as other places, especially the reception. We had to ask for more towels as we only got 2, even though the booking was for 4. Our room wasn’t cleaned and we had to ask for that to be done. The staff at the restaurant were otherwise good and enthusiastic, but I think I got food poisoning from their buffet.'

'Checking in didn't go smooth, because I stood in front of closed gate for 15 minutes. But from then on, the very friendly staff made me feel at home. Only other downside is that there is no public transportation nearby. And taxi drivers will try to shake you down. But that's not the fault of the B&B.'

'When you are looking for a luxurious and tropical destination, Tokoriki is the place to go! The cottages are beautifully decorated and all have seaview. The pool is stunning and is the perfect place to enjoy sunset with a nice cocktail. Staff is extremely friendly. The resort offers different trips around the island, the free daily snorkelling trips were great. Overall experience was excellent, but don't expect Michelin star quality food.'
