'We love this place. Great location. The first floor bedroom was perfect for a disabled family member. Walked into town every night. '

Very echoy and hard to hear tv and eachother, maybe something on walls for sound .Nice patio facing pond, more furniture to use out there and or lawn furniture to use for family. Wouldbe nice. 'The location and property are absolute peaceful perfection. The marsh view from inside as well as from the beautiful backyard full of tall longleaf pines won’t be found anywhere else. From plenty of room for boat/trailer parking to the awesome times around the fire pit, this VRBO stay was beyond our expectations. 'The house was right around the corner from my grandpa and was very easy to enjoy thanksgiving being so close. The house was clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the deck even though the propane ran out 10 minutes after we started the fire. It was still very comfortable seating and quiet. We also really liked the lack of breakable decor because our son is 20 months old. My it very easy for him to run around. Thank you for being a good host and communicating well!'

'We came to town for a medical emergency and was able to stay 5 days. The house had anything and everything we could of possibly needed for a trip out of town. I normally travel with 5-10 different chargers, cables, extension cords etc when i travle. This location it wasnt needed. There were plugs and use ports everywhere. Nice king size bed. It felt like home while being away from home. '

'We were in New Bern for a wedding with some things happening downtown and the wedding at Amelia Grove. This was the perfect place to base out of. Close to downtown and a short drive from the venue. There were just enough beds and baths for everyone and the bonus was that we were able to bring our dogs so we didn't need to board them while we were gone. Never did get a chance to check out the hot tub or spend much time in the game room or around a fire but that was fine. Would certainly...
