'Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

'Staff was excellent in helping me adjust and also help me in getting a tour guide last minute. My room upgrade was wonderfully amazing and everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and I really enjoyed my time here. My experience in Machupicchu was incredible and this hotel made it perfect! Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Machupicchu!'

'Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...
