We were there on a house hunt and the location of the cabin was ideal for that. I am happy to say we found a house that we are making an offer on, and we are hopefully moving to the Ellijay area in the near future. 'The cabin was awesome, clean, cozy and great location. It was a bit of a time getting to the creek due to the steep bank but it was manageable. There were many deer in the yard early in the morning as well. '

'The Cartecay River Retreat is an amazing spot! Right on the river, you can sit on the back deck and watch the serene waters flow. We love the screened in porch, so that you can enjoy the outdoors without bugs. The home is clean and welcoming, from the snacks and s’mores kit to the coffee bar and games. It is easy to get to the home without needing 4-wheel drive. The property is flat and perfect for elderly travelers. We took my two elderly, handicapped parents, and they were able to get around...

'We were in town with family for a wedding. The Cozy Sunset cabin was perfect for our needs...two families with 3 girls and a boy between them. The upstairs was great for gathering while the kids took advantage of the separate area downstairs. The inside of the cabin was as described and looks exactly like the pictures...very clean, all the appliances you may need. The outside, however was in desperate need of pressure washing to get rid of the pollen and spider webs and the landscaping needs to...
