'Superb hotel, location is excellent with very modern facilities. Friendly staff, with a great breakfast selection. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Borovets if we were to return. This is isn’t about the hotel but Borovets resort needs to start investing in new lifts etc - the lift pass cost has increased and the facilities should too. That’s why we wouldn’t return to the resort!'

'A very nice stay here, very comfortable bed, all new after a recent refurb. Great pools and gym. My only gripe was that the hot breakfast was not hot, in fact quite cold for some items.'

'Great hotel, and great location not even 10 min walk from the gondola and main attractions. Room was very spacious and tidy, the balcony was the crown jewel as it was looking the mountains and slopes. Very tidy and clean. Staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. Was just missing some cooking pans and cutlery to use the kitchen and the hobs'

'Fine, but not great. Our room included a broken shower door (large sliding glass was off track and hanging dangerously). The breakfast buffet was in a windowless basement, with a coffee machine that was broken and leaking water all over the floor. The staff was not friendly; they did not explain amenities at check-in, and when asked basic questions, they were unresponsive and curt. ' We stayed in a nice, spacious and clean apartment. Our stay was almost flawless, untill we asked if a late check out was possible. The reason we asked for a late check out was to leave our luggage in the room so we can get two 1,5 hour massages in the hotel spa. Same reason I gave the receptionist by the way. Mind you that one 1,5 hour massage is more then the nightly rate of the room. The answer was that it's possible for a fee of €10,- an hour. Not that client friendly when I'm still...

'The rooms need an upgrade. Smell bad, the towels are so used or bad washing machine. The spa is excellent and makes all money paid. We get a ticket for parking on front of the hotel. The receptionist said the parking is not free but didn’t mention we gonna get a fine if we leave the car there. We left one day earlier, but no refund or credit for that. 'A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.'
