'The workers there were exceptional. The hotel was clean. Food was decent. Plenty of activities and bars! I just wish they had more chaise lounges by the pools. I was there for 5 days and only once did i get one. Either add more adult pools with lounges or put in more lounges at the adult pools already there. That was my only gripe about my stay. I thank all the workers there, you are all wonderful and so kind!'

'I feel the hotel would be better during the off season. It was very busy and felt more like an all inclusive. The adult pool chairs and cabanas were always reserved, there was a wait for breakfast every day. You are very secluded so typically have to always eat on resort which isn’t cheap. The food overall was very good. '

'I stayed here as a last minute choice, glad I did. It was very much a treat to stay here, I felt very safe & the staff was very friendly (housekeeping walked in unannounced 2x)… I was extremely impressed with the room service & Cilantro’s food & service was also exceptional!! -by far the best food on my tour of Baja. My only heads up is you are not able to add tip to service bill: be sure to bring cash. '

'It is a perfect location. The beach on site is swimable unlike many other locations. The staff were all very helpful and service oriented. We especially thought Armando was amazing as he made breakfast to order at the buffet. He works so fast and efficiently. The restaurants were very good and the view right on the beach was perfect. '

'The building is a bit quaint, but it's clean, spacious and well-maintained. The beach just in front is swimmable, which is a big plus for my family. The staff was kind and courteous. The overall experience was excellent. Breakfast buffet (served until noon) was great. Pool/beach side food was very good. The dinner buffet at the main restaurant was a let down on the first couple of nights, but other nights, it was better. Moreover, there are other good places to eat at the next door PB property...

'This is our second time at this resort. Unfortunately, they lacked activities throughout our stay. New Year's entertainment ended at 9pm. I remember them having dance competitions during lunch and themed dinner parties with music. There is no mini bar in rooms and all food/drink service ends at 10pm. The room was super clean and comfortable with a great view. Unfortunately it lacked some amenities that I've recieved at other resorts that I would love for Solmar to offer.'

'Beautiful resort to walk around. Our room was very clean and anytime we needed something staff was very helpful. Nice variety of restaurants on the resort and at the sisters property by the marina. Our only complaint is the fact you have to make reservations for every restaurant in the evenings several days in advance or you don't get in. We enjoyed taking advantage of the shuttle offered to go to the marina. We did the all inclusive and in our opinion it was worth it. No pressure sales...

'Property was in the marina, which provided good scenery with the boat activity. However, it was noisy with music until 2am and started again at 6am when fishing boats left the marina. Then there were the seals that barked all day and night. If you want to sleep well, bring ear plugs! '
