'This was a good choice for an overnight stay at a very reasonable price. The room was cosy, comfortable and quiet. I had a great night's sleep. The self-service breakfast had everything you need (and more!). The only downside is the shared bathroom but for me the chance to stay in a quirky historic house makes up for it. I'm sure I'll be back again.'

'On a council estate - 9 rooms in a what was a 2/3 bedroom house - room like a prison cell, dirty carpet, dust and cup marks on desk - looks like u stand in the toilet shower....I'm not joking - full of students - room adjoins the kitchen / dining area and below the stairs - with washing machine next to room on all night... Positive thing ......I think the sheets are clean and wifi is ok..don't know where the reviews came ?'
