'clean, comfortable, historic features, modern IT (good wifi) - plenty of room for 25 people'

'Lovely clean property with lots of space and rooms. Gardens beautiful and accessible with seating. Adults and children really enjoyed our stay however having tv in the reception rooms downstairs would have been ideal. Kitchen was really well stocked with cutlery And plates but there was no basics like salt pepper oil etc. Overall lovely family home. plat3s'

'The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!'

'Absolutely superb from initial booking to leaving(didnt want to leave).Lynne is a great host nothing was to much absolutely recommend this property, everything was spot on.Nice welcome basket,Durham 15 mins away,great shopping centre 10 mins away, couple of pubs(never used)working mens club(very friendly)Would not hesitate to use Lynnes property again.'

'Mooie pand, super locatie. Niet ver van het station, vlak bij de kaaien waar je super mooi kan wandelen en is het mooiste stuk van de stad. Vlak bij het centrum. Leuke eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Wij hadden een duplex appartement. Ongelooflijk mooi en ruim. Absoluut een aanrader! '

Nice hotel, but needs a lot of upgraden!

"Although I reserve more than 8 week ago we received a room that was on the front side of the building with very loud noise from trafic etc. I asked for another, quiet room on the rear side of the building which was not possible. During night we had to close the window because of the noise!! The room did not have airconditioning! Also I booked a room with a "king" bed. The bed was only 160 cm, By far not a king bed!! "

"Extremely spacious and comfortable appartment. Excellent beds and not too much noise from the street, eventhough it's located in the citycentre. The appartment had a bit of a strange, musty smell, but it was not too present. Overall I would really recommend this accomdation. Good price/quality."
