'We upgraded to a canal view room which had a sofa and felt spacious. Breakfast was included and well organised and with everything you needed included. I liked the onsite indoor pool and gym which felt well organised and very clean. The hotel was an easy walk from from the train station and into the centre of Chester. '

'It was a lovely hotel in a great location but the smoking area was very poor. It was just a corner in the car park. Nowhere to sit and relax and the ashtray on the wall was broken. Very much like an after thought. A bench would have been lovely there and an easy solution.'

'I was working at a function at the hotel in the evening so booked a room with finishing late. Check in was efficient with welcoming staff and a gift. Room was spacious and clean although lack of bedside power points would have been better. Good nights sleep in comfortable bed. Great buffet breakfast in the morning and although hotel was fairly busy staff kept topping up food.'

'Rooms were so quiet that we couldn’t hear people roaming the corridors as you normally get in hotels. The whole hotel was clean and tidy and only a ten minute walk into the centre of Chester plus just ten minute walk from the train station. When we return to Chester we will certainly look at coming back to this hotel'

'Lovely room, quiet, clean. We were a bit worried when we saw the hotel was on such a busy street, but once we were in our room, we heard absolutely nothing from all the noise outside. Also, a special shout out to receptionist Cassie, she is an absolute gem. She made us feel extremely welcome and our daughter was totally smitten by her. All of the staff made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back!'

We had an issue wuth one of the bedroom doors but was resolved for us to be ble to use that same ecening. Not involved with the house but bus riute not good but close to park and ride for chester centre '
