'A friend and I enjoyed this wonderful rental for a weekend and had a great time. The location is close enough to everything to be really convenient, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The lack of TV was not an issue as we brought an iPad to watch movies. This is definitely a place I would rent again when I go back to Charlottesville. '

'The place was perfect for us and my daughter and husband. We were able to bring our dogs and the home was cozy and clean. The lack of WiFi was a bit disappointing but we knew that from the start. Great host with good communication!!'

'We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It snowed while we were there and the gas fireplace was an awesome amenity! The host was great with communication. There is a brewery in walking distance as well as a very cool walking path along the river. Ubers were 6.60 anywhere we went in town. Would definitely stay here again! '

'We loved our stay. House was perfecf for our group of two families staying together. Beds were very comfortable, everything was extremely clean and organized and the host was great and very helpful. Easy walk to the Corner and to the Downtown Mall. We loved sitting on the back screened porch and the kids loved the fun basement. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for such a great experience. '

'This is a very unique property definitely worth staying in to get away from the city, or in particular, to experience living in a farm house from 200 years ago, albeit one that has all the modern conveniences everyone takes for granted. 'Gorgeous views of the surrounding forest. Ideal for stargazing at night. This beautiful home is isolated, remote and a wonderful way to connect with nature. Lots of windows to see the scenery. 'The stay was great. I would make a couple of suggestions. Needs more plugs/usb connections especially closer to either side of the bed. Needs more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. With 2 people and 1 hook, towels don't dry very well. If your stay is longer than a few days, you will still work from your suitcase, because other than the closet, no place to put your clothes. 'In town for a football game (Go Heels!) and booked this cute cottage for its prime location. Close to many restaurants and campus. The interior was surprising with great attention paid to detail, lots of high end fixtures. They did an amazing job fixing this place up. I even took pictures to use on upgrades at home! '

'Our family enjoyed a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The fireplace was a welcome feature to come back to after a cold hike and a day of exploring the area. The home was conveniently located to shops and restaurants. We would definitely come back. '

'The location was very good. Wedding we attended was downtown and it was a easy Uber ride. The owner was very helpful. He always answered our questions promptly. The only problem we had was with TV. Never could get it to work. Also there was too much food in the refrigerator. We could hardly get our stuff in. Overall it met our needs. Loved the front porch'

'Fun stay. AC went out one day in but the property manager was vigilant and got us into a second property that was newer and bigger near Scott Stadium. Ended up being a great week, thanks!'

'The house was nicely laid out and had decks on the front and back. There were many trees on the property so there was lots of privacy. The furniture and bed were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom well stocked. The house was conveniently located near Charlottesville and the wineries. We had a very pleasant stay there.'

'Perfect accomodations for a girls weekend in Charlottesville. The beds were so comfy and plenty of space to cook and play games and hang out together. Well stocked house with lots of thoughtful extras. Host was super communicative and really accommodating. We will be back.'
