'Nous avons passé une semaine au mois d’août dans le gîte. Très bon accueil par les propriétaires. Grande piscine (chauffée jusqu’à 25 degrés, ce qui peut être juste pour les enfants en bas âge). Grand jardin entièrement clos. Le mobilier extérieur est très bien mais celui de l’intérieur pourrait être amélioré (literie et robinetterie des salles de bain). Présence de rongeur à l’intérieur de la maison au début de notre séjour.'

'I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful holiday gite and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The gite was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. If something wasn’t available Dawn was quick to resolve. 'Loved this property and our holiday there. Fantastic gite out in the beautiful countryside with everything you need for your holiday - the open plan layout worked really well in the hot weather. Owners are next door and are super friendly and are ready to help if needed. We took our bikes so a short ride (also walkable) down to Laprade for the cool pizza restuarant/bar or a little further to Aubterre which has a beach by the river and the stunning village has plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants...

'Wonderful 9-days relaxing in the Chalais area. Our hosts were very welcoming, and available for any help. Everyone loved the pool and sitting on the terrace. Highly recommend, if you’re looking to stay in the Chalais area.'

'I have to say this was the best vrbo I ever stayed in due to the amazing couple that owned and manages this place. They were helpful in so many ways. The place itself is relaxing and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of big cities but close enough to bike ride (which they have bikes to use) to some of the closer towns around if you don't mind a few hills to climb. 'Nous avons passés un très bon moment en famille dans cette belle demeure en pleine nature. L'endroit est très confortable et on s'y sent vite très bien. On est au calme, on a eu de belles soirées étoilées, la proximité des chevaux apporte une certaine sérénité. Le lieu est proche des grands axes routiers sans nuisances, il est donc facile de sillonner la région. Merci à Dominique et ses filles pour leur accueil, on garde l'adresse pour un prochain séjour !'

'The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children.
