'First of all, Nikki was our online host and stayed in communication with me the whole time. When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. 'This is a beautiful log home nestled in a great country setting. As stated in the online listing, there is room for everyone and space for whatever you need. There were 18 of us and no one felt cramped. The fireplace in the living room was stocked full of wood and it was relaxing to watch the fires. 'It was only 15 minutes away from the college and fairly easy to find. It was cozy, had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend it.'

'Our family gathered together with their families at this beautiful house in the woods of Iowa City. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms, we were wonderfully surprised by the well stocked items in the kitchen and availability to use and enjoy everything that was inside for us use as well. Then outside.. ponds trees and to be able to walk about and enjoy all the surrounding areas! The host was very accommodating to us as well!'
