'The hotel is very well managed, spotless clean & updated with a cute contemporary style, Beds comfy!! Warm welcome with fruit and smoothies, and breakfasts were not buffet, decent options, and servings large. Great downtown location. The window views of an abandoned building with garbage galore behind it was disappointing - but not uncommon in Vietnam. Overall, I would bring my family to this hotel any day. 'Cat Ba is a resort town with lots of mid-range restaurants and markets selling the same thins. We had hoped to bicycle more but it is very hilly and the bicycles available were not up to the task. I would recommend eating with the other guests at the homestay. The staff was lovely and helpful.
