Ryokans in Capri

'The view is gorgeous but the half mile trek uphill was undersold. They warn you that it’s a little trek but it is a steep incline )17-18 flights) to the center of town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening due to the distance back/forth and got food poisoning from the seafood. Two days of our trip was spent stuck in the room. The charge to transport your luggage is ridiculous but necessary with the hotel being so far. Concierge did give good advice on ferry tickets.'

'We had an entire apartment in a perfect area, close to shopping and the trolley. The apartment was clean and had its own private patio and washing machine. The room was comfortable and quiet, with perfect air conditioning. The accommodation was luxurious, and check-in was smooth. As soon as we arrived, we were contacted on WhatsApp and met at the property for check-in. The place is right across from the Vega Hotel, which has an amazing pool with a gorgeous view. We paid £30 to lounge for the day...

'Casa di Capri was one of our highlights of our trip. It was a wonderful stay with a beautiful view on a gorgeous private roof terrace. Nice and homey rooms. Very comfortable location, steps from the Piazzetta, shopping streets and great restaurants. Great hospitality and service. Ernesto was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend Casa di Capri for your planning trip to Capri. When I come to Capri again, I will book this stay for sure.'

'Alex ci ha accolti benissimo, ci ha anche dato una stanza superiore rispetto a quella che avevamo preso online. Cura e attenzione nei confronti degli ospiti. Ha due cani meravigliosi e la colazione e' spettacolare con una terrazza che guarda a mare. Che dire... top! :) grazie per l'accoglienza e i suggerimenti preziosi per la nostra visita..abbiamo scoperto l'isola da un'altra prospettiva!'
