HIGHLIGHTS OF FIRESIDE VISTA
This townhome is brand new! We have set it up to sleep 6 comfortably and offers plenty of space for the family (and their pets) to spread out or gather together and make lasting memories. You’ll have unlimited free high-speed Wi-Fi, along with premium cable so you can keep up with your favourite teams.

Each bedroom is designed for comfort. Every detail - from comfy room darkening shades to high-quality linens - has been curated to ensure our guests enjoy a peaceful and comfortable sleep.

You'll have access to one (1) dedicated above-ground parking stall, with a limited number of visitor parking spaces available.


CHECK-IN/OUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there's something you need during your stay with us.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Quiet Hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. A noise monitor in the unit will test decibels throughout the day.
2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit is 6 people.
3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.
4. Although pets are permitted on the property, we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest's name on the reservation.
5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.
6. Any items that are mistakenly left behind that you wish to have returned will be shipped via Cash on Delivery along with a $30.00 admin fee.

Wonderful Girls Weekend
It was an amazing stay in a beautiful location! Lots to do in the area and close to Calgary and the mountains. The property was stunning and had everything we needed for the weekend. Lots of room for six. Note: If you are staying in the summer there is no air conditioning so it did get uncomfortably hot. The floor fan was not enough to move the air and keep the place cool.

Poorly stocked for utensils and other items to function well in the Kitchen. No Directions on where to park, what the internet name was and the code. I.e no intro letter or brochure for the unit. Couch in the living room was terrible.

My 3rd stay -- need I say more?
Over the past year I've repeatedly needed to be in the Cochrane / Calgary area. On the few occasions when I stayed elsewhere [either to prioritise downtown Calgary meetings, or because this place was booked].... I regretted it. Fireside is a perfect location--tranquil yet poised on the edge of all necessities and conveniences--and this particular little nest is exceptional. It is tastefully and thoroughly appointed. Furnishings are new, appliances are top quality. The kitchen is a joy--yes, you can actually cook your own meals from scratch (even the knives are decent quality, not those paper-thin loose-handled serrated jobs you get in most rentals that skew weirdly to one side and cut nothing but your unsuspecting knuckles). Over the course of the last 2 stays I had to contact management more than once to fine-tune arrangements. In each case, their response was immediate, courteous, and above all helpful. A tip: if you're staying there in the colder months, be sure to have the little wall-heater by the front door ON. Without that, cold air blasts up the stairs and chills the main floor... which results in the need to crank the heat... which results in a sweltering 3rd floor! It took me a couple of days to work that out. That little wall-heater just inside the front door is the key to balancing the heat in this tall, narrow space. I now have my own place in the area, so won't be needing a rental. But I'll certainly direct visiting friends to this gem.

Not as what it’s described to be!
To be truthfully honest, the add does not give you the real picture. Allow me to highlight a few things for you to keep in mind if you are considering staying here: 1 - NO AC.. this place was extremely hot especially considering the bedrooms where upstairs. Think of staying in tower with little to no air circulation. No fans are provided by the host and the furnace fan does nothing to help. This made it extremely difficult to sleep at night. We were asked by the host to keep windows open, great idea right? NOPE. Unless you want to hear all the construction noise that surrounds the unit at 7am, which by the way we weren’t told about. To add, you will have to deal with the noisy neighbours that like talk loud and play loud music late into the night. 2 - if you enjoy carrying you luggage up 20 + stairs to get to the bedrooms, have fun. That was not mentioned either. Not helpful if you have lots packed and have to carry it up and down 3 - Construction! It’s great to see the town of Cochrane grow, it is a beautiful town but not fun that your place of retreat and relaxation happens to be surrounded by construction. A zoo! 4 - Host! Not professional at all, they were rude, inconsiderate and love talking down to their customer. It was so bad we had to get VRBO involved. When a host calls your stupid for not being able to book the right place and boast of owing many properties but doesn’t help accommodate you - well I call that arrogant. Won’t stay here ever!

An absolutely perfect nest! Amazingly convenient location (close to all conveniences in Cochrane, short drive to appointments in Calgary). Top-notch kitchen (quality stainless steel heavy-bottom pots that aren't flaking off ancient Teflon; knives that actually cut!), impeccably clean, tastefully decorated. Bright. Easy check-in, easy garbage/recycling, easy parking. Great and prompt communication with owners. I'd stay again, happily.
