'This is a wonderful mountain getaway on a working horse farm minutes from downtown Lexington. From the moment we booked, almost a month in advance, we received great communication from our Host Doris. Our accommodations were well-appointed and comfortable. Doris provided fresh eggs and milk and all of the drawers were well stocked with spices and cookware. Both Doris and Dennis made time for us to chat when we saw them during our stay. We appreciated their hospitality and their charming getaway....

'It was very nice, clean, private and well stocked.. our only complaint would be not having any covering’s over the windows making it somewhat eerie feeling. The bedrooms did have blinds ( thank goodness) .. there were a lot of other windows, the doors , living room, kitchen windows where anyone could look in.. other than that it was a great place!'

'Staying in this beautiful historic home was like staying with dear friends. It’s a lovely house in a great neighborhood. It was clean and inviting. Virgil was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The beds were so comfortable that I slept as well as I do at home. We walked to great restaurants and all around the neighborhood and local park. We loved the front porch! We would definitely stay here again.'

'We enjoyed this property. We were visiting VMI for family weekend Well stocked, plenty of room, comfortable and homey. Lots of added touches like snacks and some basic foods (bread, milk eggs, cereal) to get folks started. Workout equipment! Nicely decorated. Beautiful views with a lovely patio. Would stay again.'

'We enjoyed our quiet weekend in the Rivermont neighborhood. The apartment was tastefully decorated in a cool vintage theme. Although a basement apartment it had plenty of natural light. Great off street parking for one car, full size fridge, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We would stay again!'

'DeHart Cabin was perfect for our stay. We made a last minute decision to take a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and wanted to stay close. Lucky us this gem was available.
