'Goede kamer, wel met gedeelde badkamer, wat voor ons geen probleem was. Wel had het wat schoner gekund en het is heel gehorig. Op vrijdagavond waren er veel dronken mensen buiten aan het schreeuwen tot midden in de nacht, gelukkig hadden we oordoppen mee. Er is een keuken, waar je je ontbijt/eten kan klaarmaken met koelkast, dus dat is fijn! '

'Our trip to this hotel was overall a pleasant experience, however a couple of items regarding this hotel need to be addressed. 1. The carpets areceorn and dirty, they need changing or at the very least cleaning. 2. The hot water in the shower takes too long to heat up (approximately a minutes) 3. 'We were off-season visitors on a drizzly weekend. This did not stop the people at Kerenza from being thoroughly pleasant and helpful. The hotel interior and our (spacious) room appear to be quite new - it is a nice ambiance. There is a sizable parking lot which is important as parking is tight throughout Bude and a car is the only practical way of getting there.'

'Excellent! Looking for somewhere that provides a relaxed spacious ambience for families of 10 during half term breaks is hard and this 600 year old Farmhouse perfectly met our needs. Very comfortable, clean and warm. We loved the Aga, for cooking too and wood burner in evenings. Easy access to beaches, coastal towns/villages as well as good walking terrain on/off road for our high energy young people & grandchildren. Need to be reasonably fit for walking activities, could present mobility issues...

Superb for a beach holiday

"We really enjoyed our stay in Geoff’s place. Ample space and all the facilities you expect from a holiday home. The only thing that would be a nice to have are some comfort seats for outside. But since we didn’t get 5* weather, we didn’t miss that too much (and indoor seating is very much ok). The house has a combination of old charm with modern elements. As a bonus we could charge our EV (which was necessary as Bude is a little out of the way for some of Cornwalls highlights). There are plenty of nice walks in the surroundings and from Northcott Mouth it’s a short and scenic walk to Bude centre."
