Next morning the front left hand side and windscreen of my car was caked in bird mess, horrible thick black filth. I got a bucket of water from reception and was able to scrape the thick mess off my windscreen but had to wait until I got home to clean off the rest of the mess - went to a local handwash and had to pay a bit extra for the clean. « Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

« We enjoyed a weekend stay at The Wild Pheasant. The room was comfortable with a supply of tea,coffee and milk. The food was good and the dining room is pleasant.As it was the bank holiday weekend the hotel was very busy and therefore quite noisy at times. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Llangollen. »

Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for old world charm, and to find a piece of history in the Wrexham area. The people the service and the food are top-notch. Highly recommend. »
