'Het is in de Bronx, maar net over het water en de plek was daarmee prima. Kamer en bedden ook prima, we hebben goed geslapen. Het ontbijt was minder met zoete wafels of een vette omelet met kaas er in [of een hamburger!] op toastbrood, maar ja , we zijn anders gewend in Europa....'

'There was two big roaches in my room'

'This is not a tourist or visitor to NY hotel; it’s literally used by locals in the area for extra curricular activities. Worst off the front desk assistance were horrible. I asked if an early check in was possible, the young lady said yes, but I had to pay $40 cash; asked if they can add it to my bill and she replied no, but there’s an atm behind me to use. There were no smoking signs and warnings about additional fees if caught smoking, but the entire hotel reeked of weed. Bed linen had hair on...
