'There was a 4 pm check in. Property was not ready and we came back at 4.45 p.m. Rooms had cobwebs. Mouse in the dining room and big fireplaces blew out smoke when lit although we followed the directions. Firewood was for sale and not provided. Bathroom broke. Sofa in the main living room was old and sunk down so we could not use. "Gym" was a few pieces of equipment outside under a carport type structure and was covered by tarp as was the outside furniture. Toilet broke and owner tried to...

'Lovely two nights in a beautiful barn, well appointed for 10 people. Great local pub and surroundings. However, could do with some more dusting and repairs. Must be fine with spiders. But we really enjoyed our stay.'

'We rented Barebones to celebrate my father in laws 80th Birthday. We were a party of 11. The house was beautiful, clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our group. We had a lovely weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book again. I don't really have anything else to say because it was just perfect! '

'We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage in Burton on the Water! It's beautifully located in a quiet area of the village, but very close to the centre with all the shops and restaurants. A perfect spot to explore the Cotswolds, with beautiful walks, but also a really nice cottage to sit back and relax, catch up on reading and sleeping after busy times. Dawn was very kind and made sure everything was perfect. We hope to be able to come back!'

'The house lies behind other houses but is, I think, only a few years old. The atmosphere of the hous is very nice and in the kitchen there is enough of everything (i.e. 12 knifes in stead of 4 because it is a 4 person house).. The shower is fabulous.. The supermarket is only a 2 minute walk away.'

Prima hotel, lost problemen goed op.

"Als onderdeel van een rondreis verbleven in het hotel. Eerste indruk is dat het wel een degelijk hotel is, maar wellicht toe aan een beetje TLC. De kamers zijn gehorig. Tijdens ons verblijf was het erg warm, omdat - schijnbaar wat anders dan met NL - de meeste hotels geen airconditioning hebben, was ook deze kamer erg warm. Omdat je niet echt kan luchten kregen we een ventilator van de receptie. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een groep, de eerste nacht was het erg lawaaiig, we hebben dit kenbaar gemaakt en het hotel heeft alles keurig opgepakt en opgelost. Zelfde voor de warmte. Keurig opgelost allemaal. Zwembad is prima! Sauna goed heet en een squash en goede gym. Parkeren is 5 pond per dag. Let op! Dit gaat via een externe partner. "
