'C'était quoi tout ça pour nous ! Cette belle maison est magnifiquement cachée du haut d'une colline. Seul le bruit des oiseaux murmure à vos oreilles. Pas de circulation du tout et la vue est magnifique. Beauté à 360°. Mais ce n'est pas comme si tu étais complètement abandonné. A 5 minutes en voiture il y a une station essence, une banque, de bons boulangers et bouchers, et l'une des plus belles places de marché de France. 'De woning is prachtig gelegen. Heel mooi zicht van zowel zwembad als van het terras. De regio is iets minder toeristisch maar toch zijn er leuke dingen te ontdekken. De wandeling op het terrein van de eigenaar is heel leuk en geanimeerd. Een locatie waar je de sterren perfect kunt zien. Ook hebben we heel wat reeën gezien. Overdekte terrassen is een pluspunt. We zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam ontvangen geweest.'

'We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad in het huis. De gastheer en vrouw geven je veel privacy en als je hen nodig hebt, zijn ze er meteen om je te helpen. Het zwembad is zeker een pluspunt, maar ons jongste dochtertje van 2 jaar vond het net iets te fris. We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in Donazac.'

'This lovely villa is like home from home. Very well equipped and comfortable. Pool is lovely... Clean and a good size for cool dips in the hot sun. Garden has shaded areas too. Information provided useful details and all communication was helpful and prompt. A Lidl is within a 5min walk meaning this is great if you don't have a car. Villa was clean and spacious and some great extras such as books and playing cards and pool toys which we didn't use as had brought ours but a thoughtful addition....

'Prima vakantiewoning. Ruim huis met 2 badkamers en 3 wc's. Huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. In de bijkeuken staat een tweede koel/vrieskast. Ruim zwembad die elke week gecontroleerd en schoongemaakt wordt. Airco in de woonkamer en in de hal naar 2 slaapkamers. In de slaapkamers stonden ventilatoren, maar in de periode dat wij hier waren geven deze niet voldoende koeling.'

'An absolute gem of a property. The house is in the midst of beautiful grapevines and countryside, so its an opportunity to totally relax in the most wonderful setting (and house), with restaurants and bars a 10 minute walk away. The house is fully stocked with the latest gadgets and the rooms are perfect. Our host Cedric, was so accommodating, helpful and friendly - we couldn't have asked for more. I would (and hopefully will) return in a hearbeat!'

'We hebben een zeer fijn verblijf gehad in Le Castillou. Het is een charmante karaktervolle woning met 4 ruime mooie slaapkamers. De eigenares is een vriendelijke en heel behulpzame dame. Er is een grote tuin, een ruim zwembad en badhuis. In de woning staat er ook een pooltafel wat ook voor extra plezier zorgt tijdens het verblijf. Een pluspunt is ook dat Carcassonne zeer dichtbij is. Kortom, Le Castillou is zeker een aanrader.'

'De communicatie met de eigenaren vooraf was al prima. Dat gaf meteen vertrouwen en zorgde er voor dat we al voorpret hadden. Bij aankomst werden we warm ontvangen. Alan en Barbara hadden wat eten in huis gehaald zodat we niet direct naar de supermarkt hoefden te gaan. We kregen uitleg over van alles en nog wat. Het huis is erg ruim, met drie grote slaapkamers, twee badkamers en een groot balkon waar je 's avonds heerlijk kan zitten met een mooi uitzicht. Handdoeken, badlakens en zelfs...

'Great place to stay. Kim and Duncan are friendly and welcoming hosts. Always responsive to anything we needed. The house is mostly on one level with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and furniture. The houses was peaceful and surrounded by nature. It was also an ideal location for the Cathar castles we were visiting. The pool was warm and very nice to use. It is well looked after. Thanks again'

'Zeer vriendelijke en discrete gastvrouw! Charmante, ruime woning met heel goede bedden. Aangename buitenruimte en zwembad. Enige minpuntje is het straatlawaai.... 'Nous avons passé un séjour absolument fantastique dans cette location ! La maison était impeccable, confortable et bien équipée. Chaque détail avait été pensé pour rendre notre séjour agréable. La communication avec Nicolas a été excellente du début à la fin, vraiment quelqu'un de super sympa et disponible. En résumé, nous recommandons vivement cette location à quiconque recherche une escapade relaxante et mémorable.'

'Villa was lovely and very well equipped. Outside space was poorer, the area around the pool was rough and unfinished. Garden at back was full of weeds. Contact with the owner was by text which was answered quickly but he was not in the country and we had no contact number for his on site representative as we missed her on arrival due to being delayed. Our first night was spent listening to a bleeping burglar alarm which we couldn’t stop and the owner was unable to help us. Fortunately it stopped...

'Prima hotel met fijne kamers en comfortabele bedden. Ontbijt is luxe tegen een goede prijs. Receptie is niet 24 uur per dag open. Je krijgt een code toegestuurd om jezelf in te checken als je buiten de openingstijden arrivieert. Dit kan wel een gedoe zijn. We hadden geen code ontvangen dus moesten we gaan bellen. Dat systeem zou gemoderniseerd kunnen worden zodat het klantvriendelijker wordt. Winkels zijn niet ver weg, maar het hotel staat wel een beetje afgezonderd. Dat geeft wel rust.'
