Green Turtle I Houseboat - Venez flotter avec nous dans le port historique de Boston!

La tortue verte I est une péniche flottante qui dispose de 2 suites séparées pouvant accueillir 2 personnes dans chaque suite. Situé dans le port historique de Boston, dans une marina sécurisée et sécurisée, le Green Turtle I est le choix idéal pour votre visite.

Nous sommes à une courte distance de North End, de Fanueil Hall et du Boston Common. Il est facile de se déplacer à pied, en ferry, en navette gratuite, en Uber ou en taxi. Attrapez la ligne verte pour assister à un match à Fabulous Fenway.

Chaque suite dispose d'une kitchenette et d'une salle de bains privative. La tortue verte a été conçu pour le confort avant tout et le seul souvenir de votre flottant dans le port de Boston est le son des mouettes, le mouvement de la mer et de la réflexion de la danse de l'océan sur le plafond.

First Houseboat Stay

Our first time staying in a houseboat; we loved it. The views of the water with the backdrop of the city lights at night and the sun rising and waking us in the morning was so nice. We had a great dinner at Capo for the Frank Sinatra Sunday. We hope to stay there again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Bucket list boat house stay

Everyone should have a chance to stay at a boat house once in their life and the Green Turtle was a great way to accomplish that! I probably had some responsibility in missing this detail, but I wasn't aware that the second bedroom would be rented out. As a single woman renting I would have liked to have that been made more clear. Perhaps on confirmation? Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay, with a great restaurant in walking distance, and the setting was a redeveloped historic naval shipyard. Public transportation and historic sites were easily accessible.

Rock the boat

Fantastic house boat with everything you need. The water pressure is phenomenal and nice and hot. We enjoyed the snacks and drinks. Our title came from staying here on a severe wind warning weekend . The rocking was the best sleep remedy I have ever had thank you

Really wanted this to turn out different

All communications were smooth property was clean Upon arriving the boat was moving slightly we went to bed woke up and the water was so rough we couldn’t stand up. Taking a shower was almost impossible. We were told we could use one up the street. Freezing cold out so that wasn’t an option. We had to leave the following morning because I was getting violently sick. Instead of keeping the heat running on the owner we told them we would be leaving. We asked for a possible day refund to cover costs to stay at a hotel near by. They answered simply you knew it was a boat sorry it didn’t work out. We would have had no problem paying two night even though we only stayed one. We left the place as clean as we checked in because we didn’t use anything. They charge to “use “ a key fob to get you back in and out. After asking to possibly retrieve that money they sent us a partial credit 56 I know neither of us could know what weather we could have but when the girl checking you in says if you fall in the crack (there a gap between the boat and dock you have to jump in the house) swim to a boat don’t grab the dock clearly there’s a problem. I have never left anyone a bad review and we’ve rented 50 homes over the years this is not insulting someone just hoping maybe they change the description letting people know there’s a chance you’ll be sick or the amount the houseboat moves. Thank you

Fantastic Experience

We absolutely loved this property. We had never stayed on the water before, but the owners made the process seamless. We were greeted at the gate, given a tour, instructions explained and were given numbers of there were any issues. Great information was provided on what to expect on the property as well as recommendations for things to do, restaurants and activities. All the neighbors were very kind and we consistently felt very safe on the harbor. We would definitely book again and hope to bring friends and family to experience it with us.

Rock me to sleep

We enjoyed our time at the Green Turtle. We had everything we needed and then a gentle rocking to sleep on the waves. I wish we could see through the amazing yacht that was parked next to us. The view would’ve been amazing. Nonetheless we’d come back again. Central to all the life of the city, but relaxing and calm among the hustle and bustle. Great hostess. Thank you, Brittany.

40th Anniversary

We chose to spend the last night of our Anniversary vacation at the Green Turtle. The hosts and staff were easy to work with (as I originally booked the wrong day) and the stocked fridge and breakfast treats were amazing. I highly recommend this experience!

Loved the uniqueness of this place!! The area was perfect and we were able to walk/bike to many destination. They provided drinks, snacks, coffee! The bed was so comfy. View was priceless and the neighbors were so so friendly

Perfect spot for a short stay

We have never been to Boston. This was a great spot to view the Freedom Trail and see the city. Would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an out of the norm spot to stay.

Relaxing on the water.

The Green Turtle was great. My husband and I loved the place. Thank you Sherri for carrying our bags in the cart to our houseboat for us. We also really enjoyed the pastries and all the drinks in the refrigerator. I will say this that I was nervous getting off and on the boat. A ramp would be great.

The Green Turtle was a very unique experience! Sherri met us and answered lots of questions, introduced us to the property and how/where to park (on-site pay parking lot at the marina), how to get our baggage to the houseboat, how to operate the tv, a/c, marina access points, etc. Communication with Jon and Sherri was super. The Charlestown location was incredible and the property came with a helpful binder of information and contact numbers, local restaurant menus, and more. The fridge was stocked with milk, juice, yogurts and there were pastries waiting for us. Everything was clean and worked well in the kitchen and bathroom spaces. I will mention that the mattress was pretty soft, in case that is something folks might want to know in advance. Thanks for a great stay!

Property is great location and property owners/managers responded quickly and promptly. It met all our needs. While sitting outside was nice the view was partially blocked due to a large yacht in front of the sitting area. We adjusted our chairs a bit but were surprised by the view being blocked. I would still recommend this place but advise the view could be partially blocked.
