Creekside Cottage Star5Vacations

Come experience small town living in this private home located in the charming town of Black Mountain. It sits on over an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with a large, long driveway. The massive screened in porch is perfect for relaxing or reading a book. It has a dining table for dinner under the stars. The large master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, and large walk in shower. There is 1 queen bedroom and 1 bunk bedroom (both bunks are full size) that share the guest bathroom (bathtub). TVs are in both living rooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need!
Other things to note:
LATE CHECK-OUTS & EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM and checkout time is 10AM. Door codes do not activate until set check-in time. Early access will not be provided without prior approval. Guests who check-in early or checkout past checkout time will charged the additional fee of $50/hr.
There is a security camera facing the driveway that will be on during your stay. Any pets or extra guest seen on property is subject to a charge.

Great location, Very Nice Property
Communication was excellent and the property was very nice. Very convenient to Black Mountain and the surrounding areas - eg Asheville. The house offers ample parking, a very nice screened in from porch, a fire pit to enjoy outside and a large yard. It was stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The beds were very comfortable. We were very pleased overall and would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Fantastic!
Fabulous home and location. We loved it so much, we didn't want to leave. The master shower was amazing. The smores packet was a nice touch. There's a lot to do in this area and we barely scratched the surface. I think we will plan another visit and stay here again. I had great comms with Property Manager and they answered all my questions.

We spent a lovely week here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The seating inside and out is very comfortable and there is plenty of it. The screen porch is awesome but be aware that there is road noise. Would definitely stay again.

We had a severe water problem on arrival where the water was the color of mud. It did not get resolved the next day so we left. My wife is in poor health and we could not risk using tainted water. We have contacted the owner's management company via email and phone twice. They do not respond to phone calls. They decided to refund half our payment which is better than none. The property itself was excellent, great private location. The site manager tried helping but the management company needs to learn how to treat its customers with respect.

Perfect location for a family gathering
I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Such a pretty location and just a lovely and comfortable house. Lots of room, perfectly maintained, super comfy beds, many places to gather for meals and conversation - perfectly met all of our needs. Everything was neat and organized, with nice little touches that made our visit lovely. Definitely recommend and we’ll certainly be return guests the next time we gather in Black Mountain.

This cottage was a perfect spot for our family to spend a few summer days in Black Mountain! We loved the large wrap around screened porch and spent much of our time there. Our third visit to Creekside Cottage. We fall more in love each time. Only critique is that there is a lot of traffic on the highway and we experienced some very noisy neighbors. The accommodations and appointments at Creekside Cottage are second to none!

We booked this property due to its proximity to a conference at Montreat that we were managing and wanted a comfortable, homey location for our 10+ day stay. Awesome Vacation!
The house was great--well stocked, very clean. Landscaping was beautiful; sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs was great. It was just the two of us so we had lots of space! Enjoyed visiting the surrounding area. When we go back, we'll definitely stay here.

Great property, great location
This property is very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the double sitting areas for early morning coffee or evening relaxation. This home is an easy ride and close to area nature trails and attractions. The corner market store is convenient and even had half and half for coffee which we really didn’t expect. The main grocery store is also conveniently located. We would stay at this property again if the opportunity arose.

Cozy cottage and tranquil property
The cottage was clean, spacious, and provided all of the amenities and comforts of home. The property was located in a secluded area, with very little noise or activity from surrounding properties. Good size house with lovely screened porch, large sloped yard with a small creek. Average stocked kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Good instructions throughout for TV, wifi, etc. Somewhat fussy furnishings, we had a toddler visitor & put some things away during his visits. He was closely monitored so as to not endanger some of the antiques & to ensure his safety. He loved the kid sized chairs! Close to Black Mountain. Some road noise, but very quiet neighborhood otherwise. Would stay again.

Nice place and convenient
Location is fantastic and is quiet. We went for Biltmore Christmas and our parents and friends absolutely loved the place. Would recommend different mattresses for the bunk beds, perhaps some updated amenities such as lamps, and we had difficulty with the wood burning fireplace and could not use it (the seasoned outdoorsy gentlemen of our company could not get it to work properly). Overall it suited what we needed and were looking for despite the above.
