'A cosy cottage in quiet location. Perfect for visiting Whipsnade zoo and Harry Potter studios. Had everything we needed for a short stay. Only negative was the parking as it was difficult to find a space on the very narrow lanes.'

'Peter and Kaye were GREAT hosts. The place was immaculate and exactly what was described online. More than enough room for me, my wife and 15 year old daughter. They even left a bottle of Chardonnay for our Friday night arrival and Peter brought over 2 great beers!! Their 2 dogs were VERY friendly and my daughter just loved them. I HIGHLY recommend staying here the next time you are near Cookham UK. Thanks again for a GREAT time!! Hope to see you again. Elmhurst IL Gang'

'We booked this place only for a couple of nights as we needed somewhere to stay whilst i attended a local hospital. The property itself is nicely renovated, keeping old features of the barn with modern heating and bathroom etc which was lovely. Checkin was easy and the owners were nearby if needed but not intrusive. Nice big sofa and clean everywhere, nice bath and underfloor heating. The surrounding area is lovely, and I imagine if we attended during a time where the whole country wasnt...

'Stayed at Little Trees because we were visiting elderly parents who live nearby. Nice peaceful location. The place was spotless. Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. Bed a little low and soft for me but actually slept really well. '

'This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

'Had a wonderful few days. The village is very quaint and the people are friendly. The cottage we rented was very well furnished, extremely clean and not lacking in any amenities. Any problems and Debbie the manager was always available to hand. Not that we had any major issues. I would highly recommend this property'

'Very nice cottage in quiet village. Evie is a great host and came right over to fix the TV and bring us a few items that the cleaner had missed. The cottage is very comfortable and has a lovely back garden. It was chilly while we were there so we liked being able to sit in the glassed in area of the kitchen. The cottage is surrounded by other cottages/houses as is probably common in these small English villages. It's about a 15 minute drive to the park and ride to get into Oxford. Evie gave us...

'we were re-imbursed the cleaning money. The property was disgusting. Hair in beds, foot particles on range, on kitchen floor and dinning area. The condition of the property was more in tune with a hostel rather than a house for a family. The list of things that need to be fixed is to long. From patio doors that didn't close to stair banister hanging off the wall. There was only 1/4 toilet roll in the house for two toilets. We had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in the beds.'

'Quite the best property we have ever rented. Comfortable beds and everything in the kitchen one could possibly want for self-catering - and all looking wonderfully hygienic and spotless. Three good bathrooms, including one with shower for the disabled. We were blessed with good weather for sitting in the wonderful garden.'
