Vind je ideale hotel in Besthorpe

'Er zijn maar 6 slaapkamers. Wat niet erg is maar er is geen receptie dus het restaurant personeel achter de bar moet je helpen. Er is geen lift. Er is geen airco op de kamers. Er zijn twee kleine ramen die net 2 cm open kunnen aan de drukke weg. Badkamer raam kan open maar gelijk achter het raampje is de afzuiging van de keuken. Herrie en baklucht. Huishouding heeft het een keer open gezet en toen wij later op de dag terug kwamen stonk heel de kamer. Het avond eten is zeer slecht. Het ontbijt...

'I went to Diss to see friends & colleagues. On arrival no one was there to meet me as I had arrived early. There was no way of contacting the proprietor. They were on holiday, their adult daughter & son in law were taking care of bookings/stays. I had to wait for them to come home from work. The son in law was the first to arrive and was friendly & apologetic. The daughter arrived and she was equally lovely. The room was so nice and comfortable. I had a fantastic sleep & enjoyed my stay. '

'Comfortable stay once the heating kicked in. The hotel was booked in the premise that on Hotels.com showed that it had access to gym facilities. Upon arrival, it was explained this was not the case. We were greeted kindly and checked in without any issues - booking was already paid for online. Breakfast - a box breakfast was offered but was also advised we could go to breakfast at a different hotel. 'Outstanding place. Very rustic, delicious food, great sevice and immaculate accommodation. The only downside is the noise of the traffic when you are staying in the roof rooms as there is little sound insulation. Take earplugs and you will sleep soundly!'

'Lovely little ‘quirky’ hotel. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Food was delicious. I did find the stairs to the room quite a challenge due to osteoarthritis, but mobile people wouldn’t find this an issue. The room was adequate and serviced daily. The was a tv - the fact that I could only get one channel at a set volume added to the overall experience. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were replenished daily.
