'The grounds and the old manor hall are beautiful lots of wildlife and birds. The spa / leisure centre is also very good but is ran by a seperate company to the main hotel which why it might explain it is better ran than the main hotel.
We enjoyed our stay and the room (double suite in main hall building ) was good and spacious including a/c.

'The hotel was ok, a small section was a nice historical building with character but large bits are new and dated and not in a good way. The rooms where very hot and not air conditioned, it was cooler going outside in the 30+ def then it was in the room.
By biggest annoyance was the parking l, they have lots of it but it’s an extra £7 a night per vehicle, not per space. Now I know that seems an odd thing to say, but I stayed the with my father and we both traveled up by motorcycle. So we only...

'We liked that the hotel was right in the heart of town and that there was a lot of energy and activity around.
The restaurant was only fair in so far as the food goes. The service was haphazard in the restaurant and there was no one to greet you.

'We only stayed two nights and did not use the restaurant or any other facilities, so I can only review things to a limited extent.
