'Very new Hotel. I booked the executive studio, so the room was big and plenty comfortable. It's connected to the Grand Batam mall just next door and I don't need to walk outside to access the mall, which is very convenient. The only bad thing was that noise isolation from outside is poor. I could hear car noises form the outside. And for some reason they are doing some kind of remodeling/construction either upstairs or downstairs on a Saturday. 'We arrive early from the ferry and no one was speaking English in our tower. Rafa was receptionist in tower 1 and was Amazing helping us move in. She explain the deposit issue and the wait for our move in. She found us a guide Lonbam and made our trip excellent. Later on akbar in tower 2 was also helpful and spoke great english'

'This is an old property with a lot of potential. The rooms are lovely but run-down. There were a lot of things broken in the room and stuff that needed updating. The pool was in rough shape as was the rest of the outside. Food on-site was excellent, staff were good for the most part. They screwed up and did not clean our room, we asked them to do it at 4pm and went to the beach for a while, came back and it was not done. 'Bathroom ( 2) very bad, old and need renovation. No kitchen tools since this one was an apartment with kitchen, if you make food you need to yse your hand. Furniture, sofa, old and in very bad condition. Not recomanded'

'The apartment is huge, with 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Near to Nagoya, batam centre and grand mall. Good for family. The downside is that the toilet in the master bedroom was dirty, there was black spots in the bathtub. The whole unit floor was dusty and there were mold in the freezer. '

'I am having event at Aston hotel. This unit is exactly at Aston but cheaper. So it is convenient for me. Room is comfy, bed is great. Owner or CD is responsive. Only owner didn't provide free room makeup service. You will be charge Rp 200k for room makeup or house keeping. 'The room was filthy. The toilet reeked of urine and there was a heavy build up of gunk all around the toilet bowl and shower area. The sheets were stained and smelled like they were sprayed over with a fabric freshener. Used towels in wardrobe and ‘fresh’ towels had a damp smell. Utterly disappointing. '
