'Pretty lobby and beach, I found the hotel hard to sleep in…air conditioner didn’t quite seem right and the door didn’t seem to fit to the frame for a good proper close which meant you could hear people in the hall.'

'The Colony definitely has a vibe to it. Plenty of activity in the lobby and around the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. My particular room was awful, as it was located behind the elevator and the bathroom was tiny, with peeling wallpaper and pretty dirty overall. I had asked to get in my room early, so I think this was their way of teaching me not to do so again. Have stayed there in the past and never had an issue with a room. Will try the Palm House Hotel next time as it is...

'This is a lovely place, but also quite new. The facility was great and the staff was very good overall. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, especially at the warm pool area. It was the perfect getaway for us at the right time. We hope to return at some point in the future. '

'Fantastic front desk staff. Exceptionally clean. No hassle anything. Patio is my favorite place with their delicious free in room coffee. You just can’t get all of this anywhere else for 3x the cost. Pool and spa were perfect temps. Service at the poolside tiki bar was outstanding. Found it a month ago. Back twice already. Whatever negative reviews you ve read, I assure you the issues have been resolved. Trust a frequent traveler. '
