'Kamer was mooi en ruim. Er viel echter ook een aantal dingen tegen. Ontbijt was erg karig. Je moest kiezen tussen dingen die normaal allemaal in ontbijt zitten. Hot tube was slecht borrelende “cold tube”. Sleutel moest twee keer worden bijgeladen. Er werd veel gebouwd/verbouwd.'

'We stayed in a honeymoon suite and the views were simply amazing. Jock the Bushbock visited us on a daily basis. It's quite a walk to the restaurant but with an excellent full board, you'll need the exercise anyway. Staying and hiking in a world heritage location and its beatiful surrounding nature made our short 3 nights stay perfect. Take the locally provided helicopter tour (40 minutes with sparkling wine) and you will appreciate the majestic character of this beautiful region, it's really...

'Overall resort was very neat and tidy. The staff were friendly and the Koswerf had good food. My only complaint is that our room smelt of smoke and the bed needs replacing.'

'We really loved our stay at Ledges Retreat, the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. Royal Natal is really closeby to go for a hike. The room was nicely decorated and modern with a big bathroom. Everyone was really friendly and the dogs were a bonus ;-) Definitely one of our favourite places during our 3 week trip!'

'The hotel is conveniently located near attractions in the Central Drakensberg. Check-in was easy and efficient. We had a problem with our air conditioner, which was swiftly resolved after reporting the issue. Parking is conveniently located close to the rooms. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Overall, a good experience and good value for money.'

'This was an outstanding experience. The lodge has a stunning location perched on a cliff overlooking the river below. Our room was utterly delightful, Angelo’s cooking amazing and Pemba’s game drives literally stunning. Great , great game viewing.'

'The location and views are amazing. the unit is smaller than expected and a bit cramped. The dinning area is outside and during the heavy rain we were unable to use it. Also there are a lot of trucks going past and the unit is close to the road'

'Staff was great and when out of their way & beyond. Interior of standard room and common room a tad dated and reminiscent of old times. Surrounded by nature and loads of trails and activities to be done, all excellently managed by their staff '
