'Zeer gedateerde en kleine appartementen. Doet me denken aan een jeugdherberg in de jaren 70. Het gebouw is in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Wat dat betreft stevige prijs die kennelijk alleen gebaseerd is op de ligging ten opzichte Tongariro National Park. Het skigebied bij Whakapa is echter nog steeds een half uur rijden, dus niet heel dichtbij. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.'

'The chalet is very well appointed and in good condition. I liked the cosiness but with all the conveniences and appliances you might need. What I didn't like was the reliance on previous guests to make the place clean and ready for the next guests, with no obvious thorough check in between. In particular, the bed wasn't made up and it was very difficult to find the right sheets for the bed.
