'A lovely hotel which is very well located in Stamford, The Crown is near the main shopping street and many restaurants. It is also within walking distance of the Burghley estate. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable; our room faced out onto the street but the thick curtains ensured that we were not disturbed by the lights. 'This was a one night stay and did not disappoint. Friendly and welcoming staff, great facilities, food was lovely. Room was very nice, only downside for us was very limited tv channels in room, only 4 BBC channels to view which makes the downtime limited . The bed was too hard for us but obviously everyone is different. All in all a great night away.'

'when we (me and my son) arrived to check in the young blonde girl checked me in but the room was set up with a queen bed not 2 singles she asked if i was ok to hang around in the bar while she personally reconfigures the room she returned and took us to the room made us a reservation in the restaurant and allocated breakfast she was very pleasant efficient and knew the area well superb asset to the pub/hotel'

'Vriendelijk personeel en schoon maar een deprimerende kleine kamer aan achterzijde waar je je billen niet kon keren in douche, wc bril los zat en 3de bed niet in te slapen viel. Uitzicht door klein raampje op vuilcontainers. Ontbijt uitgebreid Engels maar als je dat niet lustte alleen stukje toast met jam. Jammer verwachtte toch wat meer. Vraag naar kamer met zeezicht als je boekt!!!!! Dan lijkt het mij in ieder geval leuker.'
