'Very busy modern beachfront resort, friendly staff, but wasn’t a 5 star experience. Location quite central close to pantai cenang, walkable to different restaurants, but the area next to the hotel was a bit run down. Our first room had city view but that view was very sad, there were a lot of deserted houses. Also lot of construction going on quite close to hotel. 'We read all the reviews of this hotel before booking and weren’t expecting 5star luxury but the hotel seemed good value and located where we wanted to be. The moment we stepped off the boat onto the island we knew we had made a great choice. All the staff were friendly, relaxed and made you very welcome. They seemed happy doing their jobs. The island is a paradise for wildlife.Everywhere is walkable and you never know what bird it animal you will find round the next corner…..and the monkeys!...

'The resort is nestled in the rain forrest. Monkeys and butterflies everywhere. The beach is magnificent and calm (no music, no motorized water sports, thankfully!). The pools are nice and so are the showers etc. The restaurants are good although rather expensive. Breakfast was great. Only downside was the lack of functioning salt dispensers. 'Dit is een heel rustig hotel met zicht op zee. Je kunt niet op het strand. Het is alleen om naar te kijken. Het ontbijt is een buffet van 'Westerse' broodjes, toast en jam, fruit, yoghurt en cereal, en een 'Oosters buffet' dat iedere dag andere noedels- en rijstgerechten aanbiedt. De lunch is lekker, verzorgd en betaalbaar. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel is de bakermat van een natuurlijk cosmeticamerk. 'Very convenient location for a early morning flight I’d appreciate better information regarding breakfast room and that there’s food stations outside also. Please consider turning on AC in the gym, since it gets very hot and stale air otherwise! The colour of the tapwater when putting water in the bathtub, was not so nice! I enjoyed lovely staff and service, the excellent tapbeer and live music by the pool! '

'Heerlijk hotel met fijn zwembad en direct aan het strand. Schone, ruime kamer en een fijn bed. Je mag elke dag gratis gebruik maken van de minibar en ook krijg je elke dag verse chocolaatjes van de housekeeping. Het ontbijt is prima en wisselt elke dag, ook kan je gerechten los van de kaart bestellen. Vriendelijk personeel en ook de ligging van het hotel is prima. Wij hebben er een fijn verblijf gehad en ik zou het zeker aanraden!'
