'Leuk hotel, ook omdat inspecteur Morse hier vaak in de Morse-bar kwam😬 Hier zit je echt leuk. Mooie maar warme kamer. Openen op een kier van het raam (binnenplaats) kwam met een straalmotor-achtig geluid vanuit een of ander apparaat. Toch goed geslapen met hulp van de vloerventilator. De locatie in de stad is perfect, centraal en tegenover een prachtig museum.'

'Groot hotel, net buiten binnenstad van Oxford. Nette kamers, moderne badkamer en prima bed. Mooi zwembad met fitness, prima ontbijt en bar. Prijs kwaliteit is in balans maar verder wel aan de hoge kant. Ook jammer dat het inmiddels betaald parkeren is.'

'it's a Courtyard Marriott. Still relatively young hotel so everything still well-maintained and clean. Does what it says on the tin for this chain. All staff I encountered were polite, friendly and efficient.'

'Het was er bloedheet in de slaapkamer terwijl de CV uitstond ((waarschijnlijk door vloerverwarming) zelfs met de ramen open was het snachts soms gewoon niet te harden. Ook in de centrale ruimtes stonden de ramen non stop open omdat het anders te warm werd (in oktober). Ook was het heel erg gehorig. Iedere voetstap op de gang kreeg je mee. '

'Spotlessly clean, newly refitted. Staff were lovely. Beds comfy. Couldnt fault the hotel. Car park in Union st, is 1 minute away and it is located well for Cowley street and a little further into the older parts of Oxford.'

'De Vere is een mooi gebouw in een prachtige omgeving . De Kamers zijn in één deel verouderd en in het nieuwere gedeelte , ruimer en smaakvoller . Keuken is heel goed . We hebben heel lekker gegeten . Ontvangst ook goed , correct . Maar het personeel in de bar en het restaurant missen ' leiding ' waardoor minder ! Maar er dient dringend te worden gekuist !!!Stoelen vuil , tafels vuil ...'

'It’s a very nice cozy place, but with an extremely bad WiFi and mobile coverage, and somewhat lousy isolation. Perhaps because of the nature of the building. Personnel are always nice to talk to.'

'The hotel was warm, comfortable and cleaned everyday. The staff were friendly and approachable and very happy to help with any issues. One of the rooms I stayed in could possibly do with a repaint in the future, but for the cost and the experience I have no complaints and only praise. '
