'Great little place, good location within easy reach of everything. Only downside would be the fact the bed squeeks every time you move Listing says there is a washer and dryer but there is not though this is apparently not theough lack of them trying to stop it from being on the list'

'This is a lovely, quiet, small basic cabin, ideal for one or two nights, but would prefer more rooms if staying longer in New Plymouth. Shirley is a lovely host and the description of the cabin is as it was. Very handy & convenient to New Plymouth attractions.'

'Location is primo. On the boardwalk and Fitzroy beach. You can’t beat sitting on the deck in the evening hearing the surf 👍very comfy bed. Not so comfy inside couch area however didn’t sit around inside much. 😎'

'Very comfortable. We were lucky with the weather. The wood-burner is excellent.'

'Note that the street address is a number AND a letter (we weren't told the letter part). Also note, there is a golf course between the property and the beach so it takes about 25 minutes to walk there - a pretty walk. We found a lake nearby with lovely picnicking spots.'

'We had a one night staycation at this property. It was great to be able to walk to the pub and cafes. The property was nice an clean and the bed was super comfy. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, only because the couch and chairs appeared to be like reception furniture and wasn't awesome for relaxing in the evening. It would be nice to have a decent couch that two people could relax on comfortably. Otherwise, it was great. Nice selection of teas and thanks for the cookies!'

'Excellent location to be able to walk along the beach'

'We had a great stay here. The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again.'

'Very easy to feel at home. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but the house was warm and my husband spent a happy time on the covered balcony gazing at the sea. Lots of walks on the beach and the tracks. The sea was a constant companion. A great escape for a few days. Would like to stay longer next time. '
