'The rooms and the pool buildings are very clean. The surrounding areas could be a little more well kept but I also understand it was non season and it appeared there were still construction going on. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back!'

'It was a great place to stay. The lake shore grounds were picturesque with restaurants on each end and a boardwalk in between. The dinner and service at the Bluefin Grille were excellent, as was the breakfast at the Coho Cafe.'

'Grant location in the North shore we love this hotel. You can build a fire outside in the summertime. Walk out to the water. Lots of breakfast options. Kristen was amazing helping us out with some car trouble and everybody was just so nice. '

'This was a quiet facility near Lake Superior. We enjoyed having a large room with 3 beds for 6 travelers. We also were able to park 2 trucks pulling boats. The desk clerk went home at 10PM and a person who had reserved a room came in after that. '

'Very nice, comfortable stay with a lovely view of Lake Superior and walking distance to everything in Grand Marais. The self check-in directions were very straightforward as was checkout. It was really nice to have someone send me a text message thanking me for my stay and reminding me of the checkout time and directions. Will absolutely be back!'

'They offer a discount at their sister restaurant. It was still pretty quiet even tho it's right off the highway. '

'Such an amazing property, feels like home. We bought 10 jugs of maple syrup and woke up to the sunrise and slept like a baby to the sounds of the great Gitch Gami !! Incredible we will book now so we can come back next summer. They said it is often booked 1 year in advance. '
