'This is a charming, up to date gite in an ideal location, 3 km from Eymet, a wonderful small village in Dordogne. It is hard to get a sense of just how peaceful the location is from the photos, but we greatly enjoyed our stay. Michael and Donna were great hosts. I only wish we could have stayed longer than the 6 nights we were there. '

'The house was beautiful. Welk equiped kitchen. All items we ever needed were available. Good beds. Communication with owner Fabienne was very good. We were with 2 families and had plenty of room. Swimming pool was fantastic and acces was safe for the 2 Year old. We loved everything about the house.'

'We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit prachtige huis. De foto’s doen geen recht aan hoe het werkelijk is. Het huis is geheel vrij gelegen, heeft veel grond met meeedere zitmogelijkheden en een fijn zwembad. Op 10 minuten lopen (bergaf) is herbeoordeling met een prima bakker en een restaurantje. Het huisbheeft een hele fijne grote keuken en is smaakvol ingericht. '

'We were looking for a large house to stay in and it didn't disappoint. Large bedrooms with adjacent bathrooms were very handy. And the kitchen comes well equipped. A very big garden and lovely swimmingpool. Communication with the owner was reliable, clear and fast. The only "problem" we had was with this VRBO platform. There are no reminder mails to pay (luckily I saw it on time) and payment doesn't go smoothly. But that has nothing to do with the house. We had a fun holiday!'

'We loved this property. Probably one of the best we’ve stayed at. Supermarkets were a 15 min drive, as was the nearest (open!) boulangerie in Castillionnes. The house had everything we needed. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Fans in the main house bedrooms for warm nights and my parents had A/C in the pigeonnair. The pool was fabulous, much needed in the summer sun. 'Belle gîte honoured its name: within an old farmhouse this gîte was charmingly set and furbished, with access to beautiful terrace under high roof where we relaxed every night and during daytime as well.
