'The cabin is actually a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. We had more than enough room. The back deck is great for the kids to play on with supervision. Understand that on a hot day, the front bedroom and living room get quite warm. The host/hostess were great and responded quickly to us when we mentioned that the oven needed to be cleaned so it didn’t smoke when in use.'

'Once again we had a fantastic family time at the mountain cabin. It's not a cabin but a homey house in the woods. We try to go twice a year because our whole family loves it. You will too!'

'This was our third stay at Sweet Retreat and it didn't disappoint. My son enjoys ping pong and the movie theatre, my daughter the outdoors and the warm spot by the gas fireplace (and outdoor campfire) all the while spending intentional family time together in a place that feels like our home away from home. We hit snow sledding only 20 minutes up the mountain. Thank you again, Sweet Retreat!'

'This house is exactly what the perfect fit for our trip of 4 adults,one kid,and a dog. We came up to the snow to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary (they met skiing) and this place checked every box. It's in our favorite neighborhood in Strawberry, it's an easy drive to skiing and snow play, it's high enough altitude to turn into a winter wonderland after one small storm, and the house itself is homey, comfortable, cozy, clean, and well stocked. 'From the moment we opened the front door, we were amazed at the view. The snow on the trees and running water of the river below made it picture perfect! The common area was cozy, and the home was large enough for us to also spread out. The game room was a lot of fun! We enjoyed spirited poker games, ping pong and pool! We will definitely be back! We normally bring our trailer up to camp with friends at Pinecrest but opted for a cabin this time - it was only a 4 minute drive from our friends’ place at the lake. It had everything we needed and more (kitchen amenities as well as fun stuff for the kids). Easy check in process and host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks!'

'We stayed at this Alpine Family home with friends (8 total) and it was as described & more. The home was even more beautiful, and thoughtfully prepared than the photos! Jess was an excellent host, who provided us with a fun snowmobile ride with our things & made the experience wonderful for our families-4 adults, 2teens & 2 ten year olds & dog the location was perfect! We are grateful & looking forward to planning the next visit!'
