'We absolutely love the Overlook cabin. It’s nestled into a very quiet court on the Stanislaus river. There are so many things to do in the area. We enjoyed the lake, hiking, fishing, river walks, and having a beautiful place to relax in. The overlook had all of the amenities we needed. Sitting on the deck in the early mornings watching the sun come up over the river, priceless.'

'Great location for a family. The suspension bridge to get to the house was novel and made it feel like we were someplace special. You could hear the creek flowing from the house and it was a pleasant aural backdrop. Only downside was needing to take your trash with you when you leave. '

'This has to be one of the best experiences I have ever had with a VRBO property! The places was clean, updated, well-maintained, and very nicely stocked with anything you could think of needing! The host was very communicative and even alerted us to wild fire that started just before a stay and a website to track its progress so we were well-informed and safe! We will for sure be starting here again!!'

'Cute cozy cabin with AC!!! Its like a condo apartment. The loft on top is a nice touch for extra space. 1 bathroom and 1 half restroom (toilet and sink). Great sceneries all around. The recreational center was our go to place for kidos to swim and play. Recommend to get away a nenjpy nature.'

'The cabin is very comfortable and well layed out. Located in a quite area and worked great for all of our family including our grandkids. The foosball table in the garage was fun for all. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions and easy to work with before and duri g our stay.'

'We had a wonderful stay at the cabin over President's Day weekend. We had 4 adults and 3 kids and enjoyed the pool table, kitchen, & beautiful woods (for snowball fights & sledding - brought our own sleds). In the listing, it says there are three bedrooms, but that is inaccurate. There are two enclosed bedrooms with doors, though the listing photos make it look like three. The upstairs master "bedroom" is an open loft with views to the main floor below. This means little privacy for whoever...

'Had a fun weekend get away with our family. Beautiful cabin, great location. Easy check in/out. Only complaint was the cleanliness. We noticed that our feet were completely filthy upon walking around the cabin within the first few minutes. I don’t think the floors were mopped well prior to our arrival. We also noticed oil stains/spill on the counter so not sure the counters were wiped down or cleaned either. There were condiments in the mini fridge and food stains in the fridge upstairs as well....

'Cabin itself was nice and just as decribed. Clean and has basically everything you could need. The cabin was very welcoming and the A/C is great ..downstairs has no ac though just fyi. Location you can hear and see hwy 4 thats only location complaint but it’s not a big deal at all. I would recommend darker curtains for the livingroom area since they is totally see through and does not keep the sun out and better quality kitchen pan and pots. If you plan to cook alot I would bring your own....
