Serene Waterfront Log Cabin on 1 Wooded Acre with NEW REDUCED RATES FOR 2024!

This rustic country getaway is located 2 miles off the Delaware River, 15 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (Woodstock) near lakes, hiking, skiing, and other attractions. The back border of the property is a beautiful flowing trout stream with large grassy areas for play or just relaxing.

While the cabin has only one bedroom with a queen-size bed. The great room has 4 bunk beds and a full-size futon sleeping 4 comfortably and 5+ depending on their size. The cabin has a brand new gas furnace, electric baseboard heat and a beautiful stone fireplace in the great room.

It is equipped with a small bathroom with water heater, oven, microwave, fridge, washer and dryer, WiFi and a smart TV.

A new roof and a new deck were completed in the summer of 2018 and the kitchen was remodeled in January 2019.

Great weekend getaway!!
This property was beautiful, quaint, and quiet. It offered an amazing spot for a weekend getaway in the Tri-state area with amenities just as described. Great for sleeping or lodging (depending on the weather and your tenacity). We were unable to get cell service, but the Wi-Fi worked well if you needed to look up directions or otherwise . The Delaware water gap is an hour or less away and offers amazing sights of rock formations including various shale and sandstone groups. There's an amazing local market (Peck's) that can suit pretty much all your needs for cooking. Highly recommended!

A Slice of Heaven
This was a relaxing and peaceful week. Myles (my faithful lab) and I enjoyed being out of the city life. We walked to town, met locals at Irene’s and hiked on the D&H Canal. On one of our excursions we saw 3 baby cubs with their mom. At the cabin we enjoyed the stream and the deck and even held a few fires in the evening. Looking forward to booking again for a spring trip.

Wonderful Weekend!
From the moment I messaged the owner I felt welcome. The ease of communication was great and they were very accommodating. They provide instructions with ALL info included. All you have to do is read it. Everything is exactly as it is listed, and the land is actually prettier in real life. Sitting on the deck was so peaceful. We really enjoyed everything there was to do right on the property. Our dogs also really had a fantastic time! Ice cream shop 5 mins away. I would definitely recommend this place!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods
Everything about this stay was amazing! Private cabin in the woods with access to a babbling Brooke is only part of the charm. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The back deck was the perfect gathering place. After a long day of fun it was a must to light up the outside fireplace and end the night under the Super Moon 🌚 This cabin was like amercing yourself into nature!

We love it at first we so it we love the place the house everything was good plenty of space for my kids and my dog to play the love the creek and also to watch the movies on the DVR was something new for they also love sherk movie also is a lot of boar game even though the internet was bad we weren’t able to connect Netflix to the tv we enjoyed the movies that was there and was better so mi kids enjoyed more the nature around us . We were really happy to be at your places as a tradition it was your weekend getaway that we do same month every year and this was of 5th place and let me tell you if I have to said what was my number one I pick yours. Even though we don’t repite place if I have to repite one will be this and for more days . Thanks for let us be at your place ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Not again
The property location is good but, lack of maintenance. Water supply for the entire property is very bad. It stinks and blood red in color, so we need to buy gallons and gallons of water for drinking, to wash our faces, clean utensils and for everything. The living room is totally dark even though in the middle of the day. The only good part is, the dine in kitchen and the deck, where we spent most of our time.

My boyfriend and I took our 2 dogs and we had the best time at the cabin. Even during winter time we stayed mostly outside by the fire pit, dogs walking freely through out the back. Had a lovely new years weekend here that was full of rest and relaxation. The fireplace, well-stocked kitchen and proximity to the river were wonderful! All in all a great experience. Only reason we're not giving 5 full stars is because the place wasn't as clean as we'd have hoped when we arrived (food left in microwave, floors had crumbs all over, etc) and the sulfuric smell of the water is a but unpleasant when washing your face/showering, though that was made clear to us prior to check in, so not a big surprise. The bathroom is functional but not the best, but the hosts make this very clear prior to booking. The hosts were communicative and left detailed instructions as well as a helpful guide of the area. Hope we can return someday!

Great home base near the Water Gap / Catskills!
My partner and I have become quite fond of the area where NY, PA, and NJ meet up. There is a lot of natural beauty, plenty of places to hike, and (around our anniversary in the Fall) an abundance of "leaf-peeping" opportunity. This is our second year in a row and third trip to this area, and when we found this listing we had to give it a try. This is in a really lovely spot, right outside but incredibly close to several nearby towns with plentiful conveniences (restaurants, a flea market, a grocery store, etc.) not more than a stone's throw away. The property itself is large, with access to a large grassy area and a picturesque "babbling brook." We didn't use it ourselves, but there is also an outdoor fire pit area near the main house that would be great for a warm summer or chilly fall evening. The house is nice, with a very pronounced log cabin feel both outside and in, but with enough finish to add conveniences like outlets, Internet, etc. The main living room area (what appears to be an original log cabin) is spacious and comfy, and leads into an addition that includes a main bedroom, kitchen/dinette, bathroom, and back porch with a killer view. We did have a few minor issues with appliances, but the owner was incredibly responsive and accommodating, and nothing was so outside of our comfort zone to cause us major concern or inconvenience. It was a great place to serve as a home base for our daily adventures throughout the greater area.

Quiet cozy cabin
We had an amazing time at the cabin. Ron was very prompt to respond, and very helpful. My husband, daughter, daughter’s cousin, and I fit very comfortably. The property was very pretty and surrounded by nature. The town was quaint and the locals were very kind and welcoming. Nice, but….
It rained practically the whole time we were there so we were stuck inside the cabin with an 8 month old puppy. She did very well but was bored. We knew rain was in the forecast so I brought a stack of dvd’s that we hadn’t seen yet, but the DVD player is broken. The vcr worked but not a real good selection of tapes in my opinion. We ended up watching a few free movies through the Roku but most of the ones available were pretty bad. The smell of burnt wood is throughout the cabin, you just can’t get away from it because of the huge fireplace in the main room. You can leave the front door open but the screen on the screen door was all pulled out. I was able to push it back in, as the owner told me about the spleen tool in the closet but it just comes right back out with very little pressure on the screen. The small bathroom just smells bad and we had to find a light bulb for one of the lights by the sink, even so, it’s poorly lit. There’s a wooden toilet seat which is very worn and wood is very unsanitary. The kitchen was nice. Everything worked there, there were ants on the counters. We had to move our food to the table because they just kept coming. On the plus side, when we first got there we saw 3 deer walk through the property. Beautiful trees, the creek had lots of water flowing, we just couldn’t enjoy it because of the rain. You can’t see it from the cabin either, you have to walk down to it. There is also lots of traffic on the road out front, it slows down at night. All in all, we left a day early.
