'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

'Very clean property on the beach. They have all that you need for a relaxing stay. Not too far from restaurants but will need to rent a scooter or take other transportation. Staff didn’t seem very happy. Some were but make waitstaff looked upset to take care of you. Bartenders were great however and made excellent drinks. They do charge much more than average for everything so be ready. Even charged me extra for requesting an extra pillow. I did like that they bill your room for everything...

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'

'This property is nothing fancy if you want to have it all stay somewhere else. This is my perfect place with comfortable accommodation right of the beach . Staff i cant say enough about them they treat you like family. Best dining in town the team of wonderful ladies created some perfect meals breakfast lunch and dinner. 'I liked the location of the property, it’s very convenient. I did not like that our room air conditioner broke down the first day (also on our last day). We had to move to another room while it got fixed and staff was gracious about that. Shower water pressure in bathroom is non existent. Also wasn’t happy that our ride (thru the hotel) to the ferry port was a no show. Security guard saved the day by booking alternate ride but we nearly missed our scheduled departure. 'Very convenient as it is at the town center where restaurants and bars are located. The beach is just 5 minutes walk. Their staff are very hospitable and always ready to help with a smile. Best of all, their rooms are very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back.. '
